The FB20 and FB20MA series are clog-resistant PVC film fills designed for industrial counterflow cooling tower maintenance. Made from fire-retardant rigid PVC, these fills are impervious to decay, biological attack, and chemical corrosion. Each module is formed from vertically channeled flat and corrugated sheets that promote efficient air and water mixing while minimizing fouling risks.
The unique honeycomb SNCS structure features offset vertical flutes that induce directional changes in airflow and water movement. This enhances thermal performance, reduces pressure drop, and eliminates water stagnation within the fill layers. The microstructured surface increases the contact area, optimizing heat exchange and cooling capacity.
FB20MA models are mechanically assembled without adhesives, ensuring structural integrity and ease of maintenance. Designed to withstand foot traffic and resist erosion from water spray, they are a reliable choice for demanding cooling tower applications.
