Description
HTP25 High Thermal Performance Splash Fill is designed for use in both counterflow and crossflow cooling towers, offering excellent heat transfer through droplet formation. This injection-molded fill module is built from a UV-protected polypropylene copolymer that withstands long-term exposure to harsh environments, including chemicals like alkalis, acids, oils, and biological agents.
Each HTP25 module delivers exceptional thermal performance in a compact form factor thanks to its precision-engineered drip geometry. With over 3,600 drip points per cubic foot (127,000/m³), the advanced offset-flute design optimizes water breakup and maximizes contact surface area. The open, fouling-resistant layout is especially effective for systems with high suspended solids in circulating water.
For high-temperature operations or enhanced water distribution, HTP25 can be installed above traditional PVC film fills. It supports continuous operation up to 176°F (80°C), and fire-retardant versions are available for projects requiring added safety measures.
The material’s high crush resistance—tested at a minimum of 500 psf (24 kN/m²)—is five times the typical requirement, ensuring durability and structural integrity during installation and operation. Additionally, the modules can be cleaned with high-pressure spray systems, allowing for easy maintenance.
HTP25 splash fill sheets are available in standard 36-inch lengths, and can be overlapped to achieve a 72-inch pack if needed. They are shipped on skids in two sheet sizes:
