Description
The VF19 PLUS is a high-performance vertical-fluted film fill engineered for use in counterflow cooling towers operating under poor water quality conditions. It is ideally suited for demanding industrial environments such as power plants, chemical processing facilities, oil refineries, mining operations, and food production. This fill media is designed to minimize fouling and deliver superior thermal performance even in systems with poor make-up water or process contamination.
To optimize performance, it is recommended to install a top layer of OF21MA or CF1900 fill, especially in the upper 12 inches (300 mm) of the fill pack. This area benefits from the cooling tower’s natural spray wash effect, which helps maintain flow efficiency and reduces fouling risk.

Material Options
VF19 PLUS is available in standard thicknesses of 0.010″ (0.254 mm), 0.015″ (0.381 mm), or customized per project needs. All film fills are manufactured from high-quality, UV-stabilized PVC with excellent chemical and weather resistance. High-temperature PVC (HPVC) and ABS options are also available for specialized applications.
