Description
The Three Splash Nozzle is specially designed to evenly distribute water inside cooling towers, significantly enhancing cooling efficiency. It features three distinct outlets that split the water flow into three separate streams, spraying in different directions. These streams break into fine droplets that fall onto the fill material, maximizing the contact surface between water and air, thereby improving heat dissipation.
The nozzle ensures wide and uniform water distribution, preventing dry spots on the fill material, which is critical for optimal cooling performance. Constructed from durable materials such as polypropylene reinforced with carbon fiber-glass or stainless steel, it withstands high temperatures, UV exposure, and chemical corrosion, ensuring long service life in harsh industrial environments.
Inside the cooling tower, working fluid flows through coil pipes enveloped by sprayed water. The heat from the fluid transfers to the water, which vaporizes upon contact with airflow. The heat is then exhausted by the cooling tower’s top fan, while the cooled water collects in the basin and recirculates. Spray water is further cooled as it passes over PVC radiation fins, flowing in the same direction as the fresh air, primarily transferring sensible heat. This design helps prevent scale formation on the coils, particularly useful when handling fluids at high temperatures (e.g., 60°C) or requiring large temperature differences (e.g., cooling from 60°C to 35°C).
