25 mil Blade Thickness DE097 Blade-Type Drift Eliminator

Description

The DE097 Blade Drift Eliminator Modules are precision-engineered components designed to reduce drift loss in counterflow forced-draft cooling towers. These modules utilize sinusoidal-shaped blades formed from durable PVC or HPVC materials, guiding the exhaust air through three sharp directional changes. This design enables the system to achieve an exceptionally low drift loss rate of 0.004%, helping to conserve water and reduce emissions.

A distinctive feature of the DE097 module is the integrated aerodynamic deflector at the trailing edge of each blade. This element increases the velocity of the leaving airflow while directing it at an angle away from intake fans. As a result, warm and humid air is prevented from recirculating, which enhances overall system efficiency and maintains stable cooling performance.

Manufactured from corrugated, rigid PVC sheets, the DE097 drift eliminators offer long-term durability even under prolonged exposure to harsh conditions. These materials are UV-stabilized and exhibit excellent resistance to rot, bacteria, fungi, and a variety of organic and inorganic chemical agents found in cooling tower environments.

Lightweight and easy to handle, the modules are also well-suited for projects requiring simplified logistics. Despite their low weight, they maintain strong structural integrity, allowing for a maximum span of 6 feet without additional support. The nesting design between adjacent modules eliminates gaps, ensuring continuous and effective droplet capture across the entire drift eliminator assembly.
